Rolling Hills Reservoir Campground
On your drive to this campsite, you will pass through a wide expanse of rolling native grass prairie, with herds of cattle and the site of oil well pump jacks on the landscape. Recently created by the Eastern Irrigation District, this campground features 94 serviced camping sites, showers, washrooms, a laundry facility, a trailer dump station, and group areas alongside the west edge of the Rolling Hills Reservoir. Campers have access to potable water, a marina, a boat launch, a playground, and a day use area as well. Though planted in 2004, the trees in the campground are now large enough to provide some shade and greenery.
You can enjoy sun, sand and swimming as well as a variety of boating activities such as water skiing and fishing. There’s an ample catch limit on pike, perch and whitefish, but walleye are catch and release.
